Wedding Rings Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar

The rings a bride and groom exchange on their wedding day are symbols of the eternal and unending love they have for each other. These bands of gold (or white gold) can be as plain or intricate as you want. They can be inscribed with a special message. And don't forget the engagement ring that the bride has been wearing to signify the love she shares with her groom. No matter what, the bride and groom will always wear their rings with pride. We wanted to capture the symbolism of the wedding rings and express it in a whole different way on that very special day, which is why we made our Wedding Rings stencil. The Wedding Rings stencil has the image of two rings, an engagement ring and a wedding band, interlocked with one another. If you are looking for a way to add personalized decor to your wedding, then this stencil is the perfect way to do just that. You can make your own wedding decorations with this amazing stencil, as well as any of our other Wedding stencils, such as the Champagne Glasses stencil. All you need to do is decide where you will paint it, then choose the right paint for that medium and the right stencil size for the job. Available sizes include: 5” x 6” 5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” Just imagine what you can do with this stencil. Create fun posters and signs you can hang throughout the wedding and reception venue. Hang it right on the front of the head table or on the back of the getaway vehicle. Paint it on wood or metal so the couple can have it as a keepsake. There are so many possibilities. Plus, using the stencil is so quick and easy, it won't take a lot of time away from your other wedding preparations. Just secure the stencil flat to the desired surface and apply the paint using a spray, roller, or brush. Then you can wash it and pass it on to the next wedding couple that needs it.

Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:

  • FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
  • EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
  • REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
  • DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL

  • Medium Weight. Feels as thick as card stock
  • 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
  • Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
  • Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
  • Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?

As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.

Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.

There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
