Sweet Tea Served Here Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar

It's popular in the South, where the hot summer days and nights call for a drink that is cool and refreshing. As a form of iced tea, sweet tea is simple, made with tea and sugar, sometimes fruit, and sometimes even liquor is added. And it always goes down easy. It was once considered a drink for the wealthy, since tea was so expensive, but now anyone can enjoy its flavor. And you can enjoy the essence of sweet tea, even in your DIY projects, thanks to our amazing Sweet Tea Served Here stencil. This stencil design is ideal for so many different projects. If you live in the South, grew up there, or long to live there, you might serve sweet tea regularly. You might want to create a fabulous sign or piece of stencil art you can hang in your home or on your front porch, one of the most likely places to drink your tea. You can even stencil this design right onto a wall in your kitchen or dining room or onto a wooden wall, fence, or other structure outside. If you own a restaurant, you can paint this as a sign in your establishment, on a wall or a window. This design can even add a touch of class to the background for a play. Honestly, the possibilities are as big as your imagination. You just have to be sure to get the right paint for the medium, and of course, use some truly stunning colors. With this you can paint anywhere, such as walls, glass, paper, canvas, wood, metal, fabric, and more. You also need to get the right stencil size for the job. You can choose from our range of sizes, which is as follows: 3” x 6” 5” x 11” 18” x 8” 11” x 24” 36” x 16” 48” x 22” 55” x 25” If you want a little variety, you can also check out our Sweet Tea stencil. Either way, when you are ready to paint, it's a simple matter of securing the stencil and applying the paint with a brush, roller or spray. Then you can wash your stencil and tuck it away or pass it on to another sweet tea lover.

Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:

  • FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
  • EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
  • REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
  • DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL

  • Medium Weight. Feels as thick as card stock
  • 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
  • Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
  • Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
  • Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?

As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.

Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.

There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
