Our country is a beautiful place. It is a land of freedom and opportunity. It is a land that has been molded by the people who settled it and the people who came after. It is a place we can all be proud of. And what better way to show that pride than by painting it DIY-style? Well, now you can, thanks to our Sweet Land Of Liberty Independence stencil. This stencil design is a stunning representation of our country and our love for it. And it is as bold and beautiful as this great country. It says, “Sweet land of liberty for all eternity let freedom ring.” The fonts are gorgeous, there are a couple of stars on either side of the word “Liberty,” and there is an eagle at the bottom. Where can you paint this design? Anywhere! All you need is the right paint for the medium and you can paint this design on walls, glass, paper, plastic, canvas, wood, metal, and more. Just be sure to choose the right size of stencil for your needs from our range of sizes, which is as follows: 5” x 6” 5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” Decided what to do with this design yet? How about creating a fabulous sign to hang in your home? If you're really patriotic, you can even paint it directly onto a wall. Make signs for your Independence Day celebrations or to carry at a protest. Paint it as a bumper design onto your vehicle. There truly are no limits. You can even use it alongside any of our other Independence Day stencils, such as our Sweet Land Of Liberty Fireworks stencil. Best of all, using this stencil is so easy and quick, from setup to cleanup. Secure the stencil, paint (taking care to preserve the detail of the design), then wash the stencil and you have it to use another day. This stencil is so durable it can be used over and over again for years. Don't need it anymore? Then pass it on!
Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.
7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL
- Medium Weight. Feels as thick as card stock
- 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
- Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
- Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
- Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained
WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
