You know what they are, snowflake kisses. It's when a snowflake lands on your cheek and it feels like a tiny cold kiss. The bigger and fluffier the snowflakes are, the more wonderful it is to have them land on your face, and to try to catch them on your tongue. Although, let's face it – no one likes it when a snowflake lands in your eye. But mostly, snowflake kisses are amazing and fun and something to share with a loved one, which is why we are bringing you our Snowflake Kisses stencil. This stencil has the words “Snowflakes Are Kisses From Heaven” surrounded by many snowflakes of all different shapes and sizes. It's a fun and pretty design that brings to mind the idea of God sending kisses from Heaven in the form of snowflakes. How lovely is that? And you can spread these snowflake kisses in whatever way you want. First, you need to choose a project, which might be the most difficult part of this whole thing. Once you know what you plan to do, you can get the right type of paint for the surface on which you are painting. With the right paint, any surface is fair game, such as walls, glass, paper, wood, metal, plastic, and fabric. WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?

As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.

Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.

There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
