Smiley Face Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar
We have all seen the smiley face in numerous places over the years. Usually yellow, this is the face that reminds us to buck up and turn that frown upside down. And now you can spread that message in your own unique way with our Smiley Face stencil. This stencil depicts the standard Smiley Face design, with two-oval-shaped eyes and a huge smile all enclosed within a circle-shaped face. Such a simple design that even beginners can handle it with ease, the Smiley Face stencil design is great when creating fabulous stencil art on wood or metal. You can also use it to create graffiti art on concrete, signs and posters for a rally or motivational event, or even on the window of a toy store. As long as the paint you are using is right for the surface, you can paint this design anywhere! Plus, we offer the Smiley Face stencil in a range of sizes, so you can easily find the right size to suit your needs. Available sizes include: 6” x 6” 8” x 8” 12” x 12” 15” x 15” 20” x 20” 25” x 25” 30” x 30” 35” x 35” Perhaps your greatest challenge will be deciding what color to use. Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
