Santa Please Stop Here Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar
When Christmas Eve arrives and everyone is excited for the arrival of Santa Claus in the still of the night, no one wants to be missed. Every boy and girl puts out their milk and cookies and tries desperately to stay awake in the hope of seeing the jolly old fellow. Well, we have a way that might just ensure Santa doesn't miss your stop. It's our Santa Please Stop Here stencil. This stencil has the words “Sant Please Stop Here” with a Santa hat on the “N” in Santa and a large arrow on the right-hand side of the stencil pointing down. This would make some great artwork to hang in your home, perhaps near the chimney. It would also be ideal for making fun t-shirts. But beware – if you kids see this, they will want to make a giant sign to put outside on the roof of your house where Santa can't miss it. It's a good thing we have a stencil size big enough to accommodate anything, even a rooftop sign. We laser-cut the Santa Please Stop Here stencil in the following sizes: 5” x 6” 5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” All you need is the right paint for the medium, and you can paint this design anywhere. This includes on wood, metal, paper, concrete, fabric, and more. This versatility opens up a world of possibilities for you to explore, including pairing it with any of our other Christmas stencils, such as our Believe Christmas stencil. When it comes time to paint, it will be quick and easy no matter what stencil size you are using. Just secure the stencil and paint, then wash it and tuck it away for next Christmas. You'll be able to enjoy this stencil design for years.
Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.
7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL

- 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
- Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
- Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
- Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained
WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
