Ho, Ho, Ho! He's a right jolly old elf! And now you can bring him alive in your own special way this holiday season. With our fantastic, highly detailed Santa Claus stencil, you can add his likeness to all of your holiday celebrations. Kids' faces will light up when they see his image, bringing out the true magic of Christmas. The Santa Claus stencil is made from 10-mm-thick mylar, which is strong and durable. It can be cleaned and used over and over again, which means you will get years of decorating out of this unique stencil. Plus, you can use it in so many ways because this stencil comes in a range of sizes, including: 6” x 6” 8” x 8” 12” x 12” 15” x 15” 20” x 20” 25” x 25” 30” x 30” 35” x 35” The fluffiness of Santa's beard, his rosy fat cheeks, his bushy eyebrows, and the pompom on his hat. Every detail comes alive, especially when you add the color. Just secure the stencil to the desired surface and use either spray paint or a roller to bring Santa into being. Be sure to use the right paint for the surface you are decorating, and you can add his jolly face to homemade Christmas cards, gift packages and bags, boxes and parcels, holiday signs, and more. You can even use our stencil to direct kids to a Santa visitation station. Santa is one person (ahem – Elf) you want to include in your holiday festivities and our Santa Claus stencil makes that easy and fun to do. You can even make it a family affair, getting the kids, the grandparents, the cousins, aunts, and uncles to join in. We think Santa, and even his elves and reindeer, would approve.
Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.
7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL

- 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
- Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
- Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
- Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained
WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
