Royal Bee Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar
The bee has long been considered the oldest representation of France. It symbolizes immortality and resurrection and Napoleon adopted the bee as the emblem to represent his empire. The Royal Bee image has been adapted from the French uses of the emblem and depicts a bee in the center of a wreath that is topped with a crown. This is an image that has long been used, embroidered, and loved. And now you can use it in your own DIY art and decor projects with our stunning Royal Bee stencil. The Royal Bee design is gorgeous. The stencil design depicts a bee in the center of a wreath, wings outspread, and a bow tying the wreath together at the bottom. The design is topped off with a crown that rests at the top of the wreath. If you have French ancestry, love bees, or are just fond of this elegant design, this is the perfect stencil image for you. This design would make a great wall mural, the center of a room's decor. You can also create incredible art on wood, metal, or canvas, which would be ideal to hang in your home, give as a gift, or sell at craft fairs. Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
