Queen Crown Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar
You might not be able to get near Queen Elizabeth II's beautiful crown, but that doesn't mean you can't have one of your own. Okay, this might not be a crown you can place on your head, but it is a crown that you can enjoy looking at any time you want. It's our stunning Queen Crown stencil, and while not identical, it does look a lot like Queen Elizabeth's crown. The Queen Crown stencil offers up the image of a crown that is truly beautiful. You can just imagine the gold and the jewels. In fact, you can paint in the gold and the jewels if you want. You can have any metal or type of jewels you want, and you can change it up each time you use this reusable stencil. Where can you paint this? How about making Queen Crown art to sell at craft shows? Or you can paint a crown on a king or queen on the backdrop for a play. Maybe a little girl would like this painted in a wall in her room, or on the head of her bed. Whatever you choose to do, just be sure you have the right paint for the surface material and the right stencil size. We laser-cut the Queen Crown stencil in the following sizes: 6” x 6” 8” x 8” 12” x 12” 15” x 15” 20” x 20” 25” x 25” 30” x 30” 35” x 35” Plus, not only is painting fun, it's quick and easy. So much so, you might be sad to finish so quickly. All you need to do is secure the stencil to the surface and paint. Then wash the stencil and store it away until you or someone you know needs it again.
Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

- Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
- Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained
WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
All stencil designs are copyright protected to their respective designer and intellectual property owner.
