Pine Trees Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar
Pine trees are some of the most beautiful trees there are. Known as evergreens, they represent life, even in the depth of winter. It's why they are a symbol of the holidays, from the days when pagans would celebrate Winter Solstice by bringing pine boughs into the home and decorating them. Now, you can capture the magic and longevity of the pine tree with our amazing Pine Trees stencil. This stencil depicts three incredibly detailed pine trees in three sizes. The detail is so fine, you can see the individual branches coming off each bough. This is a great stencil to use during the holiday season to decorate homemade cards or to create holiday art or decorate your windows. You can also use this stencil to make signs for a holiday event or use it to create a border along a wall in an office, living room, or a room in a cottage. The alternating pattern of the three trees would be stunning. We make this level of detail and versatility possible by laser cutting our Pine Trees stencil with precision in a number of sizes, including: 5” x 6” 8.5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” And since the stencil can be used on so many materials, its versatility is magnified. Paint it onto walls, wood, metal, plastic, bags, boxes, fabric, glass, concrete, and more. All you need is the right paint for the medium. When you are ready to paint, just secure the stencil flat to the surface and let the magic happen. Then, because the stencil is reusable, you can simply wash it and store it away for the next time you want to create some pine tree decor or art.
Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
