No Dumping Drains to Bay Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar
Have you ever stood around wondering where to go? Where the restroom was? Where the exit was? Where you could get a nice cup of coffee – or perhaps something stronger to drink? Well, that's what signs are for, right? And humans have been using signs for hundreds of years to signify one thing or another. In today's world, we might sometimes feel there are too many signs, but they are important. And we have created a line of Industrial signs so you can make your signs the DIY way. One of these signs is the no dumping drains to bay stencil, which shows the standard drains stencil symbol that no one will mistake for something else. This is a sign you can use at events, in a store or other type of business, or anywhere else that comes to mind. With the right paint for the medium, you can use this design to create signs on any surface. Paint it right onto a wall or window. Make signs out of paper, metal, plastic, or wood. Paint the symbol onto bins, concrete, doors, or anywhere else you think it might be noticed. Just be sure you choose the right stencil size from our range of sizes. Small, medium, or large, we have it all. And when it comes time to paint, you are set up and cleaned up within just a few minutes. Secure the stencil and paint. Remove the stencil and wash it. Perfect image, reusable stencil, awesome DIY investment that will save you loads of money over buying pre-made signs. It can't get better than that!
Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
