Miss To Mrs Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar

Getting married is something truly special. The joining of two lives in a way that will entwine two destinies. But it means more than that. While things don't really change a lot for the groom, the bride, should she choose to take the groom's name, goes from being a Miss to being a Mrs. This is a huge adjustment and one brides are happy to make on their big day. Whether you are the bride or a friend or family member, what better way to honor the bride on her big day than by creating a fun piece of art to celebrate this change. Now you can with our Miss To Mrs. stencil. This stencil says precisely these words, written in a fun, yet elegant script that will suit any decor. All you need to do to use the stencil is decide how you will paint it, then choose the size you need to suit that project. We laser-cut the Miss To Mrs. stencil in the following sizes: 5” x 6” 5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” Once you have the stencil in hand, you can choose the surface and get the paint that is appropriate for that surface. You can make signs and posters for the reception area. You can make a sign for the back of the getaway car. You can create your own wedding or bridal greeting card for the lucky lady. There are no limits to the options available to you. And you can always combine this stencil design with any of our others, such as the Engagement Ring stencil. When you are ready to get painting, you will find it all very easy. Secure the stencil to the desired surface and paint using a spray, roller, or brush. Then wash the stencil and you can save it or pass it on for the next wedding in your family or circle of friends. This stencil will last for years to come.

Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:

  • FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
  • EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
  • REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
  • DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL

  • Medium Weight. Feels as thick as card stock
  • 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
  • Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
  • Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
  • Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?

As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.

Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.

There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
