Love Paw Print Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar

We have pets because we love them dearly. They aren't just animals we keep in our homes – they are part of the family. We enjoy spending time with them, grieve when we lose them, and spoil them rotten. And now you can take your love for your pets to a whole new level with our Love paw print stencil. The Love Paw Print stencil is simple, but so fun in its design. You have the letters for the word LOVE, except the “O” is replaced with a paw print. And while the letters are not arranged in a line on the stencil, that doesn't mean you can't paint them in a line to create your word “LOVE.” The beauty of the Love Paw Print stencil is the flexibility in its use. Whether you are thinking a small piece of art or a large design element, we have the right size to suit your needs. We laser cut each stencil with precision and offer them in the following sizes: 6” x 6” 8” x 8” 12” x 12” 15” x 15” 20” x 20” 25” x 25” 30” x 30” 35” x 35” But what makes the stencil even more flexible is the number of surfaces you can paint it on. As long as you have the right paint for the surface material, you can paint this stencil design on paper, wood, walls, glass, metal, canvas, plastic, and more. This opens up the possibilities. Decorate your doghouse or create a wall design above the spot where your pet sleeps. Or you can create incredible wood, metal, or canvas art to give as gifts or sell at craft shows. If you run a pet store, animal shelter, or kennel you can use this stencil to decorate walls, the window, or even the walkway leading up to the door. Best of all, using the stencil is so simple. All you need to do is choose the color that best suits your needs, secure the stencil, and paint. If you want to make the design truly unique, then choose one of our other pet-centered stencils, such as the Dog Paw stencil, to go with it. And when you're done, just wash the stencil and store it for them next time you need it. Since it's 100% reusable, you can show your love for your pets the DIY way for years to come.

Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:

  • FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
  • EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
  • REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
  • DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL

  • Medium Weight. Feels as thick as card stock
  • 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
  • Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
  • Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
  • Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?

As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.

Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.

There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
