Love Heart Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar

Love and hearts go together perhaps better than any two other things known to humans. After all, it's in the heart that our feelings live. It's the heart that breaks when love is lost. And what better way to express your love for someone than by creating your own loving art to give to them. Now, you can do that in complete class and style with our incredible and elegant Love Heart stencil. The Love Heart stencil is stunning in its simplicity. It is the shape of a heart with the word love written inside in scrolling script. It's perfect for making Valentine's Day cards, or at least a very special card for that very special someone in your life. And if you want to send your message of love in a bigger way you can because you can get this stencil in sizes big enough to make posters and signs that send your message out loud and clear. In fact, we laser-cut the Love Heart stencil in the following sizes: 6” x 6” 8” x 8” 12” x 12” 15” x 15” 20” x 20” 25” x 25” 30” x 30” 35” x 35” Just think of the things you can create with this range of sizes! Massive wall art, set decor for a play, or even a design on a shop window. The key to this flexibility is that you can paint this design onto any surface, provided you are using the right paint for the medium. So, paint it on paper, walls, glass, canvas, wood, metal, or fabric. Paint it onto a cake with icing if you want! This durable mylar stencil is 100% food-grade. Choose the color that suits your needs, secure the stencil flat to the surface, and apply the paint with a spray, roller, or brush. Combine it with any of our other stencils, such as the plain Arrow Heart stencil, to make a completely unique design. But don't throw the stencil away when you're done. This stencil is totally reusable, making it a DIY art investment you will enjoy for years to come. Plus, your friends will definitely want to borrow it, so they can add some love to their art and decor.

Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:

  • FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
  • EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
  • REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
  • DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL

  • Medium Weight. Feels as thick as card stock
  • 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
  • Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
  • Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
  • Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?

As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.

Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.

There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.

All stencil designs are copyright protected to their respective designer and intellectual property owner.
