Are you a golfer? Or perhaps you have a golfer in your life, someone who loves hitting the course and spending a lazy summer day enjoying life on the green. Golfing is such a popular sport it is practically worshipping by the millions of people who get their clubs out every season. It's so much fun, it's like a party, which is why we thought we'd have a little fun with golfing in our fabulous Let's Par Tee Golf stencil. This stencil is simple in design, saying, “Let's Par Tee” alongside a golf tee with a ball on it. What a creative play on words! And what a great design to use when creating signs for a golfer's party or a golfing charity event. Make golfing t-shirts for you and all your golf buddies. Make fun golfing art to hang in your home, in the golf clubhouse, or on the golf carts on the course. Whatever you choose to do, it will be fun and loved by everyone. Just remember two key things when preparing for a DIY stenciling project with the Let's Par Tee stencil. First, you need the right type of paint for the surface, which can be anything from wood to plastic to fabric to walls and more. Second, make sure you order the correct stencil size from our range of sizes, which is as follows: 5” x 6” 5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” Once you have all this worked out and everything in hand, just secure the stencil and paint. From setup to cleanup, it will be so quick, you will still have plenty of time for a round or two. And you will have this stencil to use for many years to come, because with the proper care, it will last and last.
Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.
7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL
- Medium Weight. Feels as thick as card stock
- 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
- Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
- Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
- Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained
WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
