Kissing Booth Sign Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar
Did you know the kissing booth was really a thing back in the early part of the 20th century? There would often be a booth at carnivals where people could pay to kiss the person sitting in the booth. While this is absolutely not an attraction we'd see in today's world – we're definitely way too hygienic, and for good reason – you can still enjoy the nostalgia of the time in your art and decor with our awesome Kissing Booth stencil. The stencil says, “KISSING” in big bold letters, “booth” in a fancy script, then “open daily 25¢ pucker up.” The “25¢” is written inside a heart. It's fun, it's fancy, and it would make a great rustic piece of art for wherever you want to display it. That could be the design painted on wood or metal. It could be used to paint the backdrop of a play. It could be signs for a real fundraiser, but the kisses you give out are Hershey's Kisses. The only limit is your imagination. Once you have decided on your project, you can order the stencil size that works best for you. We laser cut the Kissing Booth stencil in the following sizes: 3” x 6” 5” x 11” 18” x 8” 11” x 24” 36” x 16” 48” x 22” 55” x 25” Then make sure you get the right paint for the surface on which you are painting and let loose. All you need to do is secure the stencil and paint. Do it once or do it a bunch of times. With the proper care and cleaning, this stencil will be ready for you to use year after year – even if you want a real kissing booth.
Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
