God Bless America Love Patriotic Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar

We all love it when we say God Bless America. They aren't just the words every President ends their speeches with. They are words filled with love for our great country and expressed in a song that was written by Irving Berlin and has been incredibly popular for decades. This phrase embraces everything we believe in as Americans and that is why we decided to give you a DIY version of it. It's our God Bless America Love Patriotic stencil and it is truly amazing. This stencil says the words “God bless America Land That I Love.” It's similar to our God Bless America Script Independence stencil, but the word America is written in a beautiful script inside the shape of our great country. This stencil is fun and vibrant and very eye-catching, and it is all yours to do whatever you want with. The question is what will you do? You'll need to let your imagination soar and choose a project, so you know what stencil size to order. Or you can order more than one size, since they are reasonably priced. Available sizes include: 5” x 6” 5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” Then make sure you get the right paint for the surface on which you are painting in some patriotic colors and you are ready to paint the love you have for your country for the world to see. You can make signs and posters for the 4th of July. You can paint this on the wall of your government office or in the foyer of a government building. You can make t-shirts, party invitations, or ice a cake. Yes, the mylar material isn't just durable; it's food-grade quality. Best of all, you can be this patriotic and have a blast doing it, yet it will only take a few minutes of your time – no matter how big or small you make your design. Simply secure it to the surface and brush, roll, or spray the paint on. The image will be worthy of our great country and the cleanup will be so easy. Then you can keep the stencil or pass it on to someone else who wants to show their patriotism the DIY way.

Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:

  • FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
  • EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
  • REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
  • DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL

  • Medium Weight. Feels as thick as card stock
  • 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
  • Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
  • Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
  • Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?

As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.

Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.

There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
