Give Thanks to The Lord Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar
When we are grateful for what we have, it is so important to recognize who is ultimately responsible for our bounty. After all, it is God who ensures we have what we need in life and we must never forget that. This is why we have created our Give Thanks To The Lord stencil. Whether it is Thanksgiving or another time of the year, this stencil design is perfect. You might give thanks for your good grades, that your hospital tests came back negative, or that your family member got home from their trip in one piece. The Give Thanks To The Lord stencil has those exact words in a fun, yet slightly elegant font, with swirls and decoration around them. This is a fun design you can use to make stencil art or to make the centerpiece of your decor. Just imagine it stenciled large right onto a wall in your living room, dining room, or entryway. You can also take it much smaller and make handmade greeting cards. Whatever you decide to do with the Give Thanks To The Lord stencil, just be sure you have the right paint for the medium in the colors you want to use. Then choose the right size for your project. We offer this stencil design in the following sizes: 5” x 6” 5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” Once you have all this in hand, all that is left is to paint, paint, paint. Just secure the stencil flat to the surface and apply the paint using a roller, brush, or spray. That's literally all there is to it. The resulting image will look perfect and professional. Then you can wash the stencil and store it safely away until you need it again.
Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.
7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL
- Medium Weight. Feels as thick as card stock
- 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
- Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
- Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
- Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained
WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
All stencil designs are copyright protected to their respective designer and intellectual property owner.
