Give It To God Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar

Sometimes we have a problem weighing on us. It might be financial. It might be work-related. It might be a family or relationship problem. Whatever it is, these types of problems often keep us up at night. We literally lose sleep over them. But it doesn't have to be this way. There is someone that we can hand these problems off to, at least for the night. God is always there, and He will take those problems and our prayers and keep them while we get a good night's sleep. It is this idea that inspired us to create our Give It To God stencil. This stencil simply says, “Give it to God & go to sleep.” That's it. No fanfare. No pretenses. Just good solid advice to hand your problems over to God for the night every night. If you know someone going through a particularly rough time, you can make a personal greeting card for them. Or you can paint this design on the wall over your bed to remind yourself every night to give it to God. If you don't want to paint on the wall, create art you can hang. Hang it in your children's rooms. You can do all of this and more with the correct paint for the medium. This opens up paper, wood, metal, plastic, canvas, walls, glass, and more as potential surfaces on which to paint. Pair that with the right stencil size for your needs and you're all set. Available sizes include: 5” x 6” 5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” We promise that stenciling with the Give It To God stencil is one thing that won't keep you up at night. In fact, it might even help relieve some of that stress you're feeling. It's so easy, all you need to do is secure it to the desired surface and paint, taking care to preserve the detail of the design. You can even pair it with one of our other religious stencils, such as the Jesus stencil. Then wash the stencil and keep it for the next time you need to remind someone to give it to God.

Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:

  • FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
  • EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
  • REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
  • DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL

  • Medium Weight. Feels as thick as card stock
  • 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
  • Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
  • Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
  • Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?

As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.

Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.

There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
