Girl Skeleton Halloween Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar
Skeletons are linked with death and Halloween, but that doesn't mean they always have to be scary. What if instead a skeleton was cute? What if it was a girl? Wouldn't you love that skeleton if it was a girl? Just think of all the places you could paint a girl skeleton. That's why we came up with our cute and adorable Girl Skeleton Halloween stencil, so you can bring skeletons into your life in a whole new way. This skeleton is so awesome in its unique appearance. It's actually not the entire skeleton. Instead, it's the skull with big heart-shaped eye sockets, long eyelashes, and a big bow on the top of it. There is no way you can mistake this skeleton for anything other than a girl and she is ready to have a bunch of fun. Of course, that means you will need to decide where you will paint her. Once you do, you can order the right stencil size from the following range of sizes: 6” x 6” 8” x 8” 12” x 12” 15” x 15” 20” x 20” 25” x 25” 30” x 30” 35” x 35” Then you can decide what paint you will need based on the surface material you will be painting on. If you want to create Halloween art or some macabre art to hang all year round, you can make it rustic on wood or metal or use traditional canvas. You can even paint this on a decorative mirror, on a lamp base, or a vase. Make decorations for a Halloween party or use the smallest stencil size to make fun party invitations. Paint her on a t-shirt or ice her onto a cake, thanks to this food-grade stencil. No matter what you choose to do, you will be pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it is to paint with this stencil. From setup to cleanup it takes just a few minutes. Secure the stencil, paint, then remove it and wash it and tuck it away. This stencil is great for the beginner and you can even get the Girls Ghost Halloween stencil for a great pairing.
Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.
7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL
- Medium Weight. Feels as thick as card stock
- 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
- Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
- Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
- Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained
WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
