Father of The Bride Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar
He's the one who walks the bride down the aisle to her waiting groom. He's the one who has to say goodbye to his little girl because she's all grown up. Yet, she'll always be daddy's little girl, no matter what happens in her life. Yes, the father of the bride has a very special place on her wedding day and in her heart. And we wanted to make sure dear old dad is honored at your wedding, which is why we have created the Father Of The Bride stencil. This stencil says only “Father of the Bride” in a simple, elegant script. It matches our Mother Of The Bride stencil and is ideal for many different uses. Mark dad's chair at the ceremony or his place at the head table during the reception. Use poster material or make it more of a keepsake by painting it on wood or metal. Attach a greeting card made with this stencil to a special gift for dad. No matter what you choose to do, we've got you covered. We laser cut the Father Of The Bride stencil in a wide range of sizes, which are as follows: 5” x 6” 5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” Use the right stencil size with the right paint for the medium and you have an unstoppable combination. Plus, making handmade signs will be special and it won't take long. Leaving you plenty of time for your other wedding preparations. Just secure the stencil to the surface and paint. Then you can wash it and pass it on to someone else you know who is tying the knot.
Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
