Easter Egg Bars Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar
Easter eggs are huge part of the Easter holiday and coloring eggs is a fun tradition. Well, in addition to coloring real Easter eggs, which we know you'll want to do with your kids, what about coloring eggs in a different way. This is also DIY, but it involves a little more paint and a surface that is definitely not an egg. Yes, we're talking about stenciling and we have our Easter Egg Bars stencil for you so you can create something truly amazing. This stencil has vertical bars of varying widths contained within the shape of an egg. It's simple and fun and lends itself to so many different Easter decorating projects. Whether you use this stencil on its own or pair it with any of our other egg stencils, such as the Easter Egg Stripes stencil, you will have fun just deciding what to do with it. You'll need to choose your project from the get-go, so you can then choose your stencil size and paint. We offer this stencil in a range of sizes to suit any project. And they are so inexpensive, you can even get more than one without breaking the bank. Available sizes include: 5” x 6” 5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” As for choosing your paint, you'll want some awesome Easter colors. But more important, you'll need the right paint for the surface on which you are painting. That will open up any project at all. Paper for event signs and posters. Fabric for Easter t-shirts. Wood for the set of a play. Metal or canvas for Easter art you can hang in your home, office, classroom, or anywhere else you want. This stencil is even food-grade quality, so you can ice the design onto a cake! The very best things about using this stencil is that it's so amazingly simple, it will blow your mind. All you need to do is secure the stencil and spray, roll, or brush the paint on. The resulting image will be absolute perfection and you will be able to clean up easily with warm water and soap. It all takes just a few minutes, leaving you plenty of time to get your other Easter preparations done.
Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
