This stencil is ideal for creating a forest scene, whether you are painting a child's room or creating a set for a play. You can also stencil it on a smaller scale, decorating wood furniture, decorative boxes, or even to create a wall border along a ceiling. Our Deer stencil offers incredible detail that truly makes this majestic creature come alive, wherever you decide to paint it. You can see nine points of its antlers and the detail of its face, the definition of its muscles, and even its little stubby tail. Just choose the colors that best suit your needs, secure the stencil, and spray the paint or use a roller or brush. You can even combine it with various other forest animal stencils and tree stencils to create a forest escape that your friends and family will truly admire. You can apply the Deer template to many different surfaces, as long as you have the right paint for the medium, such as wood, walls, metal, plastic, paper, glass, concrete, and fabric. And it doesn't matter how big or small the surface is. WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?

As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.

Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.

There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
