Cute Frankenstein Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar

Frankenstein is that stitched together creature first envisioned and created by Mary Shelley 200 years ago. And while he looked like the monster, anyone who has read this book or seen movies knows that it was actually Dr. Frankenstein, his creator, who was the real monster. But no matter how you look at it, most people wouldn't consider Frankenstein to be cute. Well, we wanted to change that perception, so we decided to create our Cute Frankenstein stencil. This Frankenstein really is adorable! Sure, he still has that sewn together sort of ugly look, with the bolts sticking out of his neck, but in a cute way. The stencil design shows just Frankenstein's head and he has the biggest, cutest smile on his face! He's happy! And he's perfect for any child's Halloween celebrations. You just need to decide what you will do, so you can get the right stencil size for your needs. Available sizes include: 6” x 6” 8” x 8” 12” x 12” 15” x 15” 20” x 20” 25” x 25” 30” x 30” 35” x 35” Then you can choose the right paint for the surface on which you are painting. This stencil design would be ideal for making stencil art for your home or classroom. You can make signs and posters for a child's Halloween party or other Halloween event. Make party invitations with it. Make Halloween t-shirts with it. The mylar material is even food-grade quality, so you can ice a cake with it, which will be a definite hit at your child's classroom Halloween party or the Halloween bake sale. Best of all, using this stencil only takes a few minutes, leaving you plenty of time for all your other monstrous Halloween preparations. Just secure the stencil to the surface and apply the paint using a roller, brush, or spray. Then you can wash this stencil and tuck it away for next Halloween. It's the perfect DIY investment because it will last for years. and if you want a more realistic looking Frankenstein, then check out our Frankenstein stencil.

Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:

  • FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
  • EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
  • REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
  • DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL

  • Medium Weight. Feels as thick as card stock
  • 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
  • Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
  • Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
  • Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?

As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.

Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.

There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
