Cow Skull Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar

Bring a taste of the West into your home with our cow skull stencil. The cow skull tradition dates back hundreds of years. Native Americans had a use for every part of any animal they hunted, and skull was no exception. The cow skull was traditionally kept and used as a tribute to the animal that gave its life. The cow skull is widely recognized throughout the Western and Southwestern U.K. as symbolic of death and new beginning. It also embodies strength, courage, fearlessness, agility, and protection. Other cultures from around the world also revered the cow skull, including the Egyptian, Buddhist, and Hindu cultures. The deep symbolism of the cow skull makes it a wonderful addition to your decor, artwork, and signage. Whether you want to paint it on the side of your barn, on signs around your property, or on the walls in your home to provide a Western atmosphere, our cow skull stencil is the perfect way to do it. You can even create a beautiful work of art to hang on a nursery wall. What a way to welcome new life! All you need is the right type of paint or spray paint in the color of your choice, a surface, and a roller brush if required. Just secure the cow skull stencil in the desired location and paint. The detail of the cow skull stencil will come out in its full splendor. Plus, you can easily apply it to different sized surfaces because we offer a range of stencil sizes, including: 6” x 6” 8” x 8” 12” x 12” 15” x 15” 20” x 20” 25” x 25” 30” x 30” 35” x 35” Our cow skull stencil is durable, reusable, and lendable, which is a good thing, because once your friends see what you've done with it, they'll want to borrow it. Just make sure you get it back! This is one stencil you will always want to have on hand.

Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:

  • FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
  • EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
  • REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
  • DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL

  • Medium Weight. Feels as thick as card stock
  • 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
  • Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
  • Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
  • Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?

As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.

Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.

There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.

All stencil designs are copyright protected to their respective designer and intellectual property owner.
