Clover Lucky And Blessed Irish Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar

The luck of the Irish is no joke, especially when clovers are involved. Clovers have long been a symbol of luck in Ireland and this leafy plant ranges far and wide across the land. But it's not only lucky, it's beautiful. Which is why we decided to create a fun stencil that embodies the clover and what it represents. Introducing the Clover Lucky And Blessed Irish stencil. This stencil says, “Lucky & Blessed,” in a font that is fun and brilliant. And with these words is a shining clover. The design is simple, yet fun and powerful and would look good just about anywhere. Celebrating St. Patrick's Day? Create your own decorations or signs and posters for an event. Paint it on the wall or window of an Irish pub. Paint in on t-shirts or hang signs at your next céilí, a traditional Irish dance. Honestly, you can pour your Irish heart into this design, even if you aren't Irish! All you need is the correct type of paint for the surface, whether that is paper, wood, metal, fabric, glass, a wall, or something else. Then you need the right stencil size from our range of sizes as follows: 5” x 6” 5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” Once you have your project chosen and your supplies in hand, the hard work is done. Seriously, painting is the easiest thing you'll ever do. Just secure the stencil and paint with a spray, roller, or brush, then wash the stencil in warm, soapy water and you will feel incredibly lucky indeed. You can even use it alongside any of our other Irish stencils, such as our Shamrocks Shamrock stencil. And you'll feel even more lucky when you tuck this stencil away to reuse again and again.

Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:

  • FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
  • EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
  • REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
  • DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL

  • Medium Weight. Feels as thick as card stock
  • 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
  • Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
  • Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
  • Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?

As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.

Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.

There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
