Christmas Angel Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar
Angels are part of the celebration of Christmas and the birth of Jesus. They were present and important along every step of the way, including announcing the birth of Jesus to the shepherds tending their flocks. We often put an angel on top of our Christmas tree and angels adorn many other holiday decorations we have in our homes. Now, you can add another special angel to your decor with our Christmas Angel stencil. The Christmas Angel stencil depicts a stunning image of an angel blowing a trumpet, wings spread out behind in glory. It's a truly elegant design that can be used on greeting cards, signs for a church pageant, or artwork of a truly holy nature. You can paint it on the window or a Christian book store, paint it onto a wall in a church, or paint it onto concrete outside a church. You can even combine it with another stencil, such as our Nativity Manger stencil, to make a stunning scene everyone will love. The key to the versatility of this stencil design comes in two parts. First, if you have the right paint for the medium, you can paint this design on any surface, such as walls, glass, wood, metal, plastic, and fabric. Couple that with the range of sizes we make available to you, and you can do almost anything you want with this stencil design. Available sizes include: 5” x 6” 5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” Painting the Christmas Angel stencil design couldn't be easier. Just secure it to the surface and create your Christmas miracle. Then wash the stencil and store it away to be used again next Christmas, or any other time you want.
Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
