Bye Felicia Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar
Sometimes, you need someone to get out of your face. You seriously don't want them anywhere near you. How do you tell them? You take your lead from the movie Friday, in which they coined the phrase “Bye Felicia.” This phrase is literally meant to dismiss anyone who you don't want to talk to and we decided it would make some wicked fun stencil art. So, we created our Bye Felicia stencil so you can have some dismissive fun. This stencil design is fun and modern and done in the hashtag format. It says, “#byeFelicia,” and there is a hand doing the peace sign above it. Use paint for concrete to make some awesome graffiti art with this stencil. Use paint for paper to make a sign you can put up wherever you go. Get the right paint to paint this as a bumper design on your vehicle. Make stencil art you can hang in your home or office. As long as you have the right paint, any surface can be made into a message board for you to say what you need to say. Just be sure you get the right stencil size so your design fits where you want it to go. Available sizes include: 5” x 6” 5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” So, get ready to let people know in no uncertain terms when you want them to get out of your face and leave you alone. Or at the very least, get ready to have some stenciling fun. All you need to do is secure the stencil and paint, then wash the stencil and you can save it for another time or pass it on to someone you know who would like to spread their own statement.
Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.
7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL
- Medium Weight. Feels as thick as card stock
- 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
- Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
- Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
- Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained
WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
