Bridesmaid Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar
Every member of your bridal party is special, and as such, every one of them deserves to be honored in a very special way. What better way to do that than to incorporate them into the decor of your wedding reception venue? Now, you can do that easily with our Bridesmaid stencil. The Bridesmaid stencil is one in a series of wedding party stencils, such as the Groomsman stencil or the Maid Of Honor stencil, that you can use to make your decor that much more unique and meaningful. The stencil has the word Bridesmaid in a simple script that will suit any type of decor. It's perfect if you are making small labels for bridal party gifts or larger signs to mark where each member of the bridal party is sitting at the reception dinner table. To use the Bridesmaid stencil, simply choose the right paint for the medium on which you are painting in the proper wedding colors. You can paint on surfaces such as paper, fabric, wood, metal, and plastic. Then choose the right stencil size from our range of sizes, which include: 5” x 6” 5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” Painting with the Bridesmaid stencil couldn't be easier. Just secure the stencil flat and paint. You can paint signs for the entire bridal party in just a few minutes. And you can get your bridal party in on the fun, having each person do their own sign. Best of all, the stencil is reusable, which means you can wash it and pass it on to the next lucky bride to use for her wedding decor. What a great DIY investment!
Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
