Be Still Know Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar
You know the Psalm 46:10 – be still and know that I am God. This Psalm has been sung and spoken and has come as a comfort to so many people in good times and in bad. And now we have captured this wonderful phrase in our Be Still And Know stencil. The Be Still And Know stencil has the words “Be Still & Know Psalm 46:10” written on it in a simple combination of scripts that emphasizes the word “know.” This is a great stencil design when you want to send an inspirational message to the people in your life. You can do this in so many ways. Use our smallest stencil design to create greeting cards. Go a little bigger and make stencil art or t-shirts with the Psalm. If you want to really share this message, you can even go really big and stencil it right onto a wall in your home or in your place of worship. All you need is the right stencil size and the right paint for the medium. We offer the Be Still And Know stencil in the following sizes: 6” x 6” 8” x 8” 12” x 12” 15” x 15” 20” x 20” 25” x 25” 30” x 30” 35” x 35” No matter what you are inspired to do, this stencil will be the vehicle through which you can do it. Plus, you can combine it with any of our other stencils, such as the Angel stencil, for a unique design. Choose some fun colors, secure your stencil, and create a message of hope and love for everyone to see. And when you're done, all you need to do is wash the stencil. Then you can tuck it away until you need it again or give it to someone else so they can spread the same message. This stencil is the perfect DIY investment.
Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
