Bakers Gonna Bake Cake Love Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar

If you love baking or baked goods, you understand the need to create yummy treats that everyone will enjoy. After all, there is nothing like a baked treat that is fresh out of the oven. And anything with icing? Well, need we say more? So, if baking is a huge part of your life or the life of someone close to you, then you will love our Bakers Gonna Bake Cake Love stencil. This is such a fun design! It says “Bakers Gonna” at the top, a cake in the middle with the word “LOVE!” on it, and below that the word “bake.” There are a couple of wheat sheaves to either side of the cake to finish it off. Honestly, this design is so wonderful and looks so bakery-style that just looking at it puts you in the mood for something sweet and yummy. So, while you've got something baking in the oven, what are you going to whip up with this stencil? You can stencil the design onto a wall in your kitchen at home or in a bakery. How about in the bakery window? If you don't want to paint it right onto the wall, make some fun stencil art that you can hang anywhere you want in a bakery or your home. You can also paint this design onto a wall outside a bakery or paint it onto the apron worn by anyone who is baking up a storm. All you need to make this happen is the right paint for the medium. With that, you will be able to paint on any surface imaginable, such as walls, glass, wood, metal concrete, fabric, and more. And as a baker, it would be extra special to ice this design onto a cake, which you can do thanks to this food-grade stencil. And of course, you'll need to get the correct stencil size from our range of sizes, which includes: 6” x 6” 8” x 8” 12” x 12” 15” x 15” 20” x 20” 25” x 25” 30” x 30” 35” x 35” So, once you have chosen your project, you can secure the stencil to the surface and paint your heart out. Just like baking your own treats, this is doing things DIY-style and that makes you and everyone around you happy. And you'll be even more happy when you see how easy cleanup is. Just wash the stencil and you can save it for another time.

Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:

  • FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
  • EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
  • REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
  • DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL

  • Medium Weight. Feels as thick as card stock
  • 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
  • Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
  • Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
  • Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?

As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.

Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.

There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
