Angel Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar

The angels are watching over us. They hear our prayers. And they are there when we need them. Why not bring the angels even closer to you and your loved ones with our incredibly detailed Angel stencil? This stencil depicts an angle on its knees, wings folded, in a position of prayer. The detail in the wings and the folds of the angel's robes is intricate and precise, thanks to our laser cutting technology. Plus, we cut each stencil in-house, which allows us to offer the Angel stencil in a range of sizes, including: 5” x 6” 8.5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” Just think what you can do with this variety of sizes. You can stencil this Angel design large on a wall in your home, in a church room, or in a community venue. You can also stencil it onto a window. If you want to go a little smaller, you can stencil the Angel design onto posters and signs, perhaps with some words to help guide people. Or you can create Angel art, which would be very popular at Church craft shows. Take our smallest stencil size and you can make unique greeting cards to invite people to a Christening or other event. There are virtually no limits to what you can do with Angel stencils. As long as you have the right paint for the medium you can paint on surfaces such as walls, glass, plastic, metal, wood, and concrete. You can even paint on fabric, or create an angel cake, since the mylar stencil is 100% food-grade. You can also combine it with other stencils, such as our I Love Jesus stencil, for a completely unique design. When you are ready to paint, simply secure the stencil and create your masterpiece. Then wash the stencil and tuck it away because it is 100% reusable, so you can use it over and over again.

Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:

  • FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
  • EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
  • REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
  • DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

7.5 MIL MYLAR STENCIL MATERIAL

  • Medium Weight. Feels as thick as card stock
  • 7.5 Mil (0.19 mm) thickness
  • Very flexible for tight curves and cylinder shapes
  • Recommended for fine detailed craft stencils and smaller stencils
  • Reusable as long as they are kept clean and well maintained

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?

As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.

Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.

There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
