Baby Shark Stencil - Reusable - 7.5 MIL (190 Micron) Thick Mylar
Sharks might seem like ferocious creatures, and they are, but when you take a baby shark and make it smile, well, it's just plain cute. And it's the perfect type of shark for children to enjoy in any setting. And you get to pick the setting, at least you do with our amazing and totally fun Baby Shark stencil. But this isn't just any baby shark. This is the Pink Fong baby shark, that goes along with the song, “Baby Shark doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo.” This stencil shows the cartoon-like image of a baby shark. Above the shark are the words “Baby Shark,” and below the shark and those little ditty-like words “Doo, Doo, Doo.” It's fun and you can just hear the song in your head, at least if you have a little one who loves to listen to it. And now you can bring the baby shark into your little one's life the DIY way. Whether you want to paint it on their bedroom wall, on bedroom furniture, or on wood, metal, or canvas to create stencil art, we've got you covered. Painting on a t-shirt? No problem. Painting it on the bottom of a swimming pool? Just as easy. How about icing it onto a cake? Easy with this food-grade stencil. The key to using this stencil anywhere you want is to make sure the paint suits the medium. Then get the right stencil size for your project and you're all set. We laser cut this stencil in the following range of sizes: 6” x 6” 8” x 8” 12” x 12” 15” x 15” 20” x 20” 25” x 25” 30” x 30” 35” x 35” And painting is so easy, you can even get your little one to help you. Once you secure the stencil to the surface, you can work on your own or with your little helper to fill in the stencil design with the color of your choice. You can even pair this stencil with others, such as our Baby Elephant stencil. Once you're all done, just wash the stencil and tuck it away. Then you can spend your time watching your little one enjoy their new painted creation.
Here are some advantages of using Mylar stencil material:
- FLEXIBLE: Mylar can wrap around cylinders and uneven or irregular surfaces, and can be rolled for shipping and storage.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Our Mylar is solvent proof, so cleaning up paint or ink is quick and simple.
- REUSABLE: Our stencils are built to withstand normal painting wear and tear, and keeping your stencil template clean is the best way to ensure a longer life.
- DURABLE: Mylar sheets are reputably the strongest type of stencil material, and maintains durability without compromising the pliable structure.

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND MYLAR?
As mentioned before, the best way to achieve a perfectly painted stencil with a very nice paint edge is to use a stencil material that is as thin as possible for your project. At the same time, you also want a material that wont absorb paint or any liquid because this will cause the stencil to deteriorate. A stencil made from paper, cardstock or paperboard will become saturated with paint or ink rather quickly, and this causes a crusty, uneven edge that can never be removed.
Another option for stencils, and one that quickly comes to mind when we discuss durability, is metal stencils. While these thick, unbendable stencils do have their place for some industrial applications where paint overspray and running doesnt quite matter as much, they can be very expensive and heavy to ship.
There are some other plastics that are used for stencil manufacturing, but these are typically cut with a die cutter so there is a limited amount of detail that can be achieved. And because this older, traditional process takes so much work and expense to set up for each stencil design, the minimum are often in the 1000s.
